Editorial Board

The editorial board of the International Journal of Agriculture and Nutrition (P-ISSN 2664-6064, E-ISSN 2664-6072) brings together researchers working in agronomy, horticulture, soil science, plant protection, food science and human nutrition. It is chaired by Editor-in-Chief Dr. P. Mehalingam, and its Associate and Assistant Editors are based at institutions in India and abroad. The current list, with each member’s designation and affiliation, is shown below.

What the Board Does

Every manuscript reaching this agriculture journal is read first by a subject editor from the board. If it fits the scope and meets a minimum quality level, the editor sends it to two reviewers for double-blind peer review — neither side sees the other’s identity. The board then takes the final decision on acceptance using the reviewers’ reports, and the reports go back to the author with that decision. The full process is set out in the publication policy.

Joining the Board

Researchers with a doctoral degree and a publication record in agriculture, food science or nutrition may apply to serve. Applications are made through the apply for board member page. Members are expected to handle manuscripts within their own subject area and to declare any conflict of interest, as described in the publication ethics of the journal.
